DAY 1
8 AM DEPARTURE

10:30 AM MONTEFALCO
On a walk through the town, among the walls of pink stone and along the paths that descend from the Piazza del Comune, you will be surrounded by the ancient presence of gardens and domesticated vines. Inside the Santa Chiara convent, you will find Sagrantino vines that are several centuries old.
Learn about the local grape production and taste some of the best wines in the region.
Enjoy lunch in a typical Umbrian “trattoria”, where you will taste fresh and homemade local dishes, washed down with a bold Sagrantino wine.
2 PM SPELLO
Visit the fortified medieval village of Spello, the church of Santa Maria Maggiore and its frescoes.
Free time to wander around this little but unique village, rated amongst the “most beautiful villages in Italy”.
4:30 PM NORCIA
Explore this gem located at the foot of the Sibillini mountains, famous for its black truffle, top quality meat, and for being the birthplace of Saint Benedict.
Savour its local products during a 2-hour food walking tour with a local tour guide.
Spend the free evening and night in Norcia to wander around the medieval town centre and try the many local restaurants.
DAY 2
8 AM DEPARTURE - Norcia
10 AM TODI
Walk around the medieval streets of this hilltown founded in 2700 BC and enjoy stunning views over the Umbrian countryside.
Visit the 12th-century Gothic Cathedral and the Captain’s Palace, with its impressive arched stairway which connects it to Palazzo del Popolo.
Enjoy a typical Umbrian lunch in a beautiful restaurant that overlooks the Umbrian Valley.
2: 30 PM ORVIETO
Visit this magical town built on top of a hill made of volcanic stone.
Enter its majestic Cathedral, see the beautiful Gothic facade and the Chapel’s brilliant frescoes.
Leave the city to reach the 125-year-old Le Velette estate for a wine tasting session and a visit to the vineyards.
8 PM RETURN BACK TO FLORENCE
